Have you been struggling to feel like you are thriving? Would you like to feel more connected to the people around you? Are you suffering from emotional pain that you find it hard to resolve? I can help you! Understand that you need help and finding someone that you can share your innermost concerns with takes bravery and trust. For many of us having someone to be there with an open and non judgmental ear is invaluable. If you are looking for help it is likely that you have been struggling with your feelings of well being for some time now and are looking for relief.
Therapy is based on building a relationship with someone so that we can learn to trust ourselves and work more effectively with the world around us. In my experience with helping people it is often necessary to look at what you have been through in life in order to understand the patterns that are taking place now for you so that it is possible
to make the changes that you need that will help you thrive.
As a therapist I have a strong belief in helping you find your strengths as well as work on the relationships in your life to move you toward the changes that you want to make. My practice is built on Western therapy practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narative Therapy. I also blend elements of Eastern healing practices such as mindfulness and exploring the nature of mind and the thoughts that roll through it.
In working together, I will encourage you to reach for the changes you need to make in order to create balance and happiness in your life. From myexperience we all need to be challenged by someone that cares at times to look at the patterns that have been holding us back so that we can see the awesomeness that we all are. In working together you will gain insights in to learn how you see yourself and how you work with your life. You will also learn practical skills that will help you remove the suffering that you are feeling. Change is not necessarily easy as the storms that inpell us are often complex and hard to overcome. But, making changes will leave you in better place.
As an intern I cannot take insurance but offer affordable sliding scale rates. If you are in need of help call me for a free 1/2 hour consultation that to see if we will be a good match for working together.
